Alice Brandon has always wanted to be a professional ballet dancer, ever since she was three years old and saw the nutcracker for the first time. Her mother enrolled her in lessons and it was soon discovered she had a true gift. Alice is now eighteen and working for the American Ballet Company, and is making her way to become a principal dancer. Now that she is making her way to the top, dance director Jonathon Reeves is telling her she needs to loose five pounds. How far will Alice go to make it to the top?
As Alice tried to desperately shed the pounds to become on top, she meets and falls in love with another dancer, Jasper Whitlock.
